The "AS REAL AS IT GETS" simulation football league is a unique format that allows any and all to get involved in the replay of football history. You can select a single team and play them for an entire season OR play a different team each and every week! In any case, you will be part of a project that will simulate the NFL of the past throughout 75 plus years of football history.

San Francisco 37 New England 21
Patriots put an early scare in the 49ers but finally the defense settles down and SF moves to 2 - 1.
Minnesota 32 Dallas 31
Carolina 27 St. Louis 17
Kerry Collins threw 2 touchdown passes and ran for a third to lead Carolina to a 27-17 win in their home opener.
San Diego 24 Philadelphia 16
Please disregard my first post. I didn't realize we couldn't play the computer if a sub is needed. Gene Couture stepped up and coached the Cunningham/Waters led Eagles.
Gene and the Eagles were racking up a ton of yards on a rainy Philly night and had a 16-3 lead against the baffled Chargers with 13:26 left in the game. With 4th and 3 on their own 35 yard line the Eagles punted to the Chargers. The punt returner Coleman fumbled the punt as he was laid out by the Eagles Woodward. However, in the most freakish played I have ever seen with this game, the Chargers Davis scooped up the fumble and returned it for a 93 yard TD fumble recovery to give the Chargers life down 16-10. With only 9:15 left in the game, the Eagles had the football down to the Charger 12 yard line and were about to put the game away when Ricky Waters fumbled the ball on a hit by Junior Seau at the 8 yard line and the Chargers recovered. The Chargers moved the ball out to their 26 yard line when Stan Humphries hung in the pocket and completed a 61 yard TD bomb to Tony Martin giving the Chargers a startling 17-16 come from behind lead. The Eagles were stopped on their next possession and Humphries called on Jefferson for a 44 yard TD pass to seal the deal making the final score SD 24 PHIL 16. Great game called by Gene! The Chargers go to 3-0 and the Eagles fall to 1-2.

NY Jets 24 Jacksonville 21
Boomer Esiason overcame 2 picks to lead the Jets to victory over the Jags. |
Bruce Thomas playing for NYJ all the way from Poland.....and a nice job he did.
This was a close game, and might have gone either way. Jax failed to capitalize on 2 Boomer Esiason picks and also mismanaged the clock inside of 2 minutes, trying to go 80 yards and tie with a field goal......rookie mistakes, only my 3rd Action! PC Football game.
Miami 27 Pittsburgh 20
This one comes down to the wire as Marino hits Byars with under 2 minutes left for the victory.
